The Red Ski House is perfectly located in the middle of Hirafu village, just a short distance from shops, restaurants and ski lifts. Its newly renovated western rooms and small, boutique size means that while you are close to the action, you can enjoy privacy and comfort.

The house is right next to shuttle bus stop to take you to Hirafu ski lift, so grab your skis or snowboard and all you need to walk is 15 meters.


About this Snow Experience


The Red Ski House is a newly-renovated lodge in the middle village area in Hirafu. It is close to many popular restaurants and bars and is only 15 metres from the shuttle bus stop to access the Hirafu lifts. The rooms have been refurbished with modern Western style furnishings whilst retaining their original charm.

Spend a night in your room, curl up in the luxurious bathrobes with a book or mix with other guests watching a DVD, playing a board game or sharing your powder experiences from the day. The lodge is non-smoking and has 10 rooms, all with Western style queen split beds with luxurious linen and towels. All rooms use shared bathroom facilities.


The Red Ski House is ideally suited for couples or small groups who are looking for a high standard Western ski lodge with all the comforts of home. Not recommended for children under 5 years.


The Red Ski House has been completely renovated. Modern western-style furnishings and bedding are designed to make your stay comfortable and luxurious. The Red Ski House is adjacent to Shuttle Bus Stop No.4 and provides extremely convenient access to and from the slopes.

Mountain Guiding
Discover Niseko’s legendary hidden and un-tracked powder with an experienced guide!
Take in the beautiful local scenery on a snowmobile. With courses designed for all ages and skill levels from beginner to the advanced snowmobile rider you will be sure to have a blast and you ride through trails, open fields and into untouched terrain.
Cross Country Skiing
Try something different and go on a scenic journey through Niseko’s nature trails.
A snowshoe trip is an easy and enjoyable way to spend time outdoors in the snow, and a great chance to take some iconic photos of Mount Youtei and surrounds.
Rest, relax and rejuvenate in a traditional Japanese onsen and enjoy the feeling of cleansing and soaking your body after a great powder day. Onsen is an authentic and natural way of healing your mind, body and soul. There are a number of onsens within minutes walk of Alpen Ridge.

Niseko has an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and tours available. Onsens are a must when visiting Niseko, where you can relax with the locals and take in the serenity. Day tours to Sapporo, including the Annual Ice Festival, the seaside city of Otaru, or some cultural activities within Hirafu allows you to have a broad holiday experience.

Take a day trip to the nearby cities of Sapporo or Otaru - the former being the site of the 1972 Winter Olympics and home to the annual Yuki Matsuri (Ice Festival).
